Niigata Chuo & Yukata!

Gestern bin ich zu meiner neuen Schule mit meiner Schwester Mika gegangen. Sie ist so alt wie ich, geht aber noch zur Junior High School.
Yesterday I went to my new school with my sister Mika. She is the same age as me but she still goes to a junior High school.

Gestern sind also die 3. Klaessler der Junior High Schools zur Niigata Chuo gekommen um zu sehen wie die Schule so ist. Sie ist sehr gross und hat ungefaehr 1100 Maedchen und 20 Jungs glaube ich. Das kommt daher, dass es bis vor kurzem noch eine reine Maedchenschule war aber ich glaub das hab ich schon mal erzaehlt ^^

So yesterday the Junior High School 3rd graders came to Niigata Chuo to see how the school is like.　It is very big and has around 1100 girls and around 20 boys I think. That's because it was an all girls school but I think I already wrote that before. ^^

Ich gehe zur Schule mit dem Fahrrad, dem Zug und auch zu Fuss. Als erstes fahre ich mit Fahrrad zum Bahnhof und nehme dann den Zug nach Hakusan ueber Niigata (auf dem Rueckweg muss ich in Niigata umsteigen). Von da muss ich noch 15 minuten bis zu meiner Schule gehen. Recht langer weg, ich brauche knapp ne Stunde ^^
I have to go to school by bike, train and by walking. So first I ride my bike to the train station of my town and then I take the train to Hakusan via Niigata (For my way home I have to change trains in Niigata). From there I have to walk 15 inutes to my school. Quite a long way, it takes me around 1h ^^

Heute Morgen bin ich mit meinem Gastvater zur Stadtverwaltung gefahren um ein paar noetige Formalitaeten zu erledigen fuer meine Residence Card und die National Health Insurance Card. Danach sind wir zu einem deutschen Restaurant gefahren (es war winzig lol) und danach sind wir nach Hause gefahren und haben versucht mir Geld von meinem Bankkonto zu holen mit meiner Visa Karte. Es hat weder bei der Post funktioniert, noch bei drei Banken und zwei Kombinis (Convenient stores). Es hat dann endlich bei einem Kombini namens "7 eleven" funktioniert. Keine Ahnung woran das liegt.

This morning I went to the city office with my host father to do some necessary stuff for my residence card and the National health insurance card. After that he took me to a German restaurant (it was tiny lol) and after that we went home and we tried to get me some money from my bank account with my visa credit card. It didn't work at the post office, neither did it at three banks and two kombinis (convenient stores). It finally worked at a convenient store which is called "7 eleven".

I have no idea why it only worked there.

Nachmittags bin ich zum Haus von einem Freund meiner Gastfamilie gefahren. Deren Tochter war in Deutschland fuer ein Jahr, deswegen konnte sie Deutsch sprechen :-)
Es waren auch andere Austauschschueler da aber die meissten sind seit Maerz hier und sie konnten fliessend Japanisch, daher mache ich mir nicht so viele Sorgen uebers Japanisch lernen. Ich verstehe bereits ein bisschen und ich lerne jeden Tag neue Woerter.
Am Abend haben wir Yukatas getragen und sind zu einem kleinen Festival gegangen. Es war ziemlich lustig bis es angefangen hat zu regnen >.<
Nach einer Weile sind wir zum Haus zurueckgegangen und nachdem wir Abendessen gegessen hatten haben meine Gasteltern mich abgeholt.

In the afternoon I went to the house of a friend of my host family. Their daughter had been to Germany for one year so she could speak German :-)

Other exchange students were there too but most of them had been in Japan since march and they could speak Japanese fluently so I don't really worry about learning Japanese. I already understand a little bit and I learn new words every day.

In the evening we wore Yukatas and we went to a little festival. It was pretty fun until it started to rain. >.< After a while we went back to the house of the friend and after we ate dinner my host parents picked me up.

Tut mir leid, dass ich gerade zu faul bin, die auf mein iPad zu tun, es ist hier naemlich schon Mitternacht ^^
